FAQ
Is this live trading?
No. Trading Floor is paper mode only. The PAPER badge is always on. Simulated fills are labeled as paper and never claimed as live Webull executions.
What book does a cycle start from?
Paper equity starts at $391.00. Resetting the book returns you to that number. There is no broker balance in v1.
How is size computed?
The Sizer uses a $25.00 hard cap per trade and cash from paper equity. LONG/SHORT shares = min(floor(max loss / stop distance), floor(equity / limit)). OPTIONS debit contracts = floor($25 / (premium × 100)) when Finnhub returns a real last or bid/ask mid — premiums are never invented. Risk is never sized above $25.
Why 2% adverse slip?
Every paper fill is marked 2% worse than the limit for P&L simulation. That is a conservative sim assumption, not a live fill or a market-data print.
Does this talk to Webull?
No. Webull is display and waitlist only until the owner flips a broker path. Free/paper does not need a Webull account. v1 does not send orders, read positions, or store broker keys.
Where do Free paper quotes come from?
Click Find stocks. That runs a Finnhub fundamentals screen on a seeded liquid US universe (up to 60 names) — it does not download the full exchange dump. Auto Trade and Run paper cycle quote that shortlist only, then rug-check and pick the best paper play: LONG equity, SHORT equity, or OPTIONS (calls/puts) from Finnhub quote/move, fundamentals, rug, and news. Free-tier option-chain is often 403 — the desk skips OPTIONS with a logged reason and still longs or shorts. Fills are still simulated (limit DAY, 2% adverse slip). If the key is missing or Finnhub returns no quote, the desk errors instead of inventing a price. The PAPER badge stays on.
Who operates Trading Floor?

What is Free vs Pro?
Free includes the full six-agent paper HUD and the first several paper cycles. After about eight cycles — or if you export the logger, open a second paper book, or hit Connect Webull — we show an upgrade banner. We do not hard-lock those first cycles. Pro ($24/mo or $199 lifetime, checkout via Lemon Squeezy) unlocks unlimited paper history, export, extra books, and saved desk settings. Live Webull keys are waitlist-only until the owner flips live.
What is Auto Trade?
Auto Trade is paper-only. Click Find stocks first so the desk has a shortlist. When Auto Trade is ON, this Worker runs the same Finnhub paper cycle (scan → rug → choose LONG/SHORT/OPTIONS → size → sim fill) about every 30 seconds on the server (15–20s when remaining Finnhub pulls are healthy) — the loop keeps going if you close or background this tab. It does not slow past 30s when remaining is low: it thins quotes, skips enrich, or skips that tick instead. A real Finnhub 429 uses a short backoff only. It does not auto-screen the US tape. Find stocks shares one free-tier meter with Auto Trade and defers when remaining pulls are low. The HUD shows remaining Finnhub pulls plus the chosen play and reason. It stops when you turn Auto Trade OFF, when the book is down 10% from the session/day peak paper equity (the high-water mark trails up as the book grows; the stop always sits 10% below that peak), or about five minutes before the regular US cash close (3:55 PM America/New_York on RTH weekdays) so the paper book flattens for the close. It does not turn back ON at the next open — morning start is manual. Reset book to $391 also clears that daily halt and day-peak bookkeeping so Auto Trade can run again. live stays false. No Webull orders. The Auto Trade control shows last cycle time, next countdown or “running…”, and the last error.
